Symmetry & Hierarchy

  This assignment  focuses on the Symmetry and hierarchy of the building typologies that I'm researching.The Color bar at the bottom of the Hierarchy diagram indicates what is of the most to least importance on the structure.*

    Try to use color to display your information

  2. I agree with Prof. Lia, but I do really think the organization of your layout and information is really nicely done. The simple diagrams of the symmetry are clear. I do like the site plans and images.
    Try using color to show which of the elements are the most important.

  3. Eldon, there are many kinds of symmetry, not just simple mirror symmetry and crossing the two axes. Also, it is important functionally, not only the plan and mass. I am sending an email with attached picture file about the symmetry of the approached by you Hepworth Wakefield center. I marked my suggestion by red color. Your second axis is by a blue color. Feel the movement. Sometimes the symmetry is not static.
